Every day is a conscious decision to stay on the path and keep creating. We draw our inspiration from the concrete, the tags on the walls, and the raw honesty of the grind. I choose to wear this as my Sobriety Junkies. It's a badge of where we've been and a promise to keep moving forward.
I wasn't born an addict, but life happens, and things change. It's not where you go or how far you fall — it's how quickly you get back on your feet. Sobriety Junkies was an idea someone close to me came up with, and without meeting him I would never be in the position I'm in — to try to help those silent voices that are hurting and struggling in the darkness. He is the heart of Sobriety Junkies. I am just the vision. The hero in this story doesn't have a name. He could be the customer. He could be a fallen friend. He's anybody who's been down this road and is fighting to get back. I see something that could be the global fight to end deaths from overdoses. I learned early that addiction doesn't just live in the city, in the country, in the suburbs, in the neighborhoods. It's all over the world. The passion behind what we do, the tagging — everything isn't bad. It's the coping, the creativity, the danger. No matter where you're from, the fight is the same.
Sobriety Junkies started with an idea from someone close to me — and without meeting him, I would never be in the position I'm in. It began with a daily decision: to stay on the path, to keep creating, and to wear that choice out loud. The city is where the story started, in the concrete and the tags on the walls, but addiction doesn't just live in the city. It's in the country, in the suburbs, in the neighborhoods — it's all over the world. No matter where you're from, the fight is the same. Every design is a piece of that origin — a badge of where we've been and a promise to keep moving forward, together.
